Cathy joined our firm in 2004 and we never want her to leave!
Before joining Luft & Company, Cathy developed her extensive bookkeeping, administrative, and client relationship skills at several positions including –
- From 1977 through 2000, Cathy held positions in public accounting as administrative assistant, office manager and staff bookkeeper. It was through these positions that Cathy developed her understanding that our work needs to be proofread and delivered to the client with the explanation and professionalism they deserve. Along the way, she developed bookkeeping skills including a working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products and a special understanding of payroll and sales tax issues.
- From 2000 through 2004, Cathy held the positions of Office Administrator in the Warranty Department of Thompson BMW and then West German BMW.
In 2004, Cathy made the decision to resume her career in public accounting and we were fortunate enough to entice her to join our firm. Cathy now serves as a bookkeeper and much more! As our office administrator she makes sure everything runs smoothly and our clients are informed. She proofreads all reports and reviews every tax return before it leaves our office. Cathy is the key ingredient in the Luft & Company mantra – “Do it right the first time!” Like all key ingredients, we couldn’t do it without her.
